Choir Rehearsal Launch

Last night Wall Of Sound Community Choir met in the grounds of Gateacre School in Belle Vale for their first rehearsal.

Despite the weather a team of brand new choir members showed up to kickstart this brand new singing venture. Some of these people had met before, but there were so many new faces from so many walks of life that joined safely in song for the first time, of what we hope is the first of many. A massive shout out to all of those that attended this week and are booked in for our next rehearsal - even if they’re still going to tell their family that they’re at Zumba!

This brilliant bunch of singers put their voices to the songs of Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye to create a beautiful blend of harmonies and sounds in not just one, but two or three parts! Which given that some of the members have NEVER done anything like this, is pretty dang fabulous!

This Wall Of Sound Rehearsal would not have been possible without the incredible support from Gateacre School and staff, as well as the volunteers who gave up their time to support and make sure this went smoothly and seamlessly!

Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are completely weather dependent for our rehearsals!

Here at Wall of Sound we are religiously checking the weather so that we can keep you updated, and hopefully (in the event of good weather) open up our rehearsals to everyone that wants to attend.

Come and sing with us, we' think that we’re a most excellent group of people.

But you can decide that for yourselves!
