Our Flagship Choir. It all began here.

At the end of lockdowns from the worldwide pandemic of Covid-19 we needed connection.

Wall Of Sound Community Choir was born out of that need.

And from that point onwards we’ve been growing and learning and having an enormous amount of fun.

We rehearse in the wonderful Gateacre School on Hedgefield road. Even better than that, we have access to their music department!

It’s fully accessible, with access to toilet facilities.

There is a quirk though - We have to enter the school from around the back!

Look out for our sign, and when in doubt just ask at the desk in the sports hall.

We rehearse in 4 vocal parts - don’t panic - this doesn’t mean we’re singing really complicated things!

What this means is we sit you with singers that are a little like yourself, not just based on gender!

Highs - for upper voices

Mid 1’s - for upper middle voices

Mid 2’s - for lower middle voices

Lows - for lower voices

WE DON’T AUDITION YOU!

So really you can sit anywhere you like! Just make sure you’re having fun, and all is good!

You can simply turn up and sing and pay as you go.
